TeleTalker Install & Onboarding Checklist

A step-by-step guide to configuring your AI call assistant on a rooted Android device.

Your Automated Virtual Receptionist

Real Voice Conversations

Natural inbound and outbound calls driven by ElevenLabs TTS.

GSM-First Approach

Deep system integration handles direct SIM (cellular) calls directly on the device.

Automated Action

Books, reschedules, and confirms appointments with local transcription.

Phase 1: The Pre-Flight Checklist

Phase 2: The Foundation (Magisk Root)

TeleTalker requires root access (Magisk recommended) to intercept and inject call audio directly into GSM calls.

  • Without root, Android blocks the low-level telephony operations required for AI automation.
  • Confirm your device is rootable and OEM unlocked.
  • Verify success using Magisk Manager (look for Root: ✓).

System Flashing & Module Installation

  1. Install the TeleTalker APK and allow installation from unknown sources.
  2. Flash the TeleTalker Magisk module via your root manager.
  3. Watch for successful extraction of module files, tinyalsa tools, and injected scripts in the log.
  4. Reboot the device when complete.

Configuring Essential Permissions

Phase 3: Connecting the AI Voice Engine

  1. Create an account with ElevenLabs (or Ultravox).
  2. Copy your unique API Key from the provider's dashboard.
  3. Navigate to TeleTalker Settings -> Voice Engine.
  4. Paste the API Key and select your preferred AI voice.

Phase 4: Funding the System

The Crypto Top-Up Process

Verifying Your Subscription

Phase 5: Scheduling Your First AI Call

  1. Navigate to the Calendar tab and tap the “+” button.
  2. Enter the target Phone Number.
  3. Select the exact Date and Time for the automated call.
  4. Set a maximum Call Duration limit.

Crafting the AI Prompt

The “Note” Field: This is your direct instruction to the AI. It should include the purpose of the call, context for the conversation, and the desired goal.

Example: “Call Purpose: order pizza. hi, can I order pepperoni pizza?”

Best Practices
  • Keep the Note under 300 characters.
  • Be direct and specific about the goal of the conversation.

Verifying the Scheduled Action

The Final Check: Testing & Privacy

Test Run

Run a Test Call from the Home tab to verify the app auto-answers, the AI speaks, and the transcript appears.

Troubleshooting

If audio is choppy, bring the app to the foreground and re-test.

Privacy Reminder

Transcripts and call notes are encrypted and saved locally on your device by default. Audio stays on the device unless cloud sync is explicitly enabled.
