A: TeleTalker Lite is inbound-only (SIM/GSM). TeleTalker Standard adds outbound scheduling (calendar) and automatic triggering of scheduled outbound calls. Both run on rooted Android devices and use ElevenLabs or Ultravox for TTS.
A: At launch we prioritize Android 9–12. We will extend support to Android 13+ in later updates.
A: Root enables system-level access needed to answer calls, inject audio into calls, and capture the third-party call audio reliably. Magisk is the recommended method.
A: No. Because of root/system permissions, TeleTalker is distributed as a signed APK from our website.
A: TeleTalker platform minutes are prepaid with crypto only. Credits are deducted at $0.05 per minute. Voice provider costs (ElevenLabs/Ultravox) are separate.
A: Yes — you may use your own provider API key (recommended). The provider bills you for voice/ASR usage separately. We can also support a managed/shared provider setup by arrangement.
A: Standard provides a simple calendar to schedule outbound call tasks (time, number, duration, and a Note for the AI). TeleTalker will attempt the outbound call at the scheduled time from the device.
A: The Note is a short instruction/script the AI uses as context when making the outbound call (e.g., “Remind about appointment tomorrow at 10am — offer reschedule”). You can use placeholders like {name} or {time} to auto-fill call metadata.
A: Yes. TeleTalker can record calls locally and produce text transcripts. ElevenLabs Scribe (or another ASR) may be used for higher-quality transcription; provider billing is separate.
A: TeleTalker will notify and can be configured to politely end the automated portion or transfer the caller to a human contact, depending on settings.
A: Yes — API calls use TLS. Transcripts and recordings are stored locally by default; cloud sync/export requires explicit user opt-in. Sensitive data is encrypted in storage.
A: At launch we will support ElevenLabs and Ultravox; switching options depend on the final release plan. Provider usage/quotas will be visible in Billing so you can monitor costs.
A: Not for the initial GSM-first launch. Messenger/WhatsApp have stricter platform rules for live audio injection; these channels are planned for future projects after the GSM release.
A: Mid-range phones known for rootability and Android 9–12 (e.g., older Samsung J/A series, some S series ≤ S20) are recommended. We publish a device checklist and compatible firmware suggestions.
